An excellent story by Ben Allee on how alumna Madeline Hill (BA Sociology '15) used her sociology degree to found the popular newsletter, Impersonal Foul, and then later become co-host of the Sports Gossip Show podcast, which recently joined The Athletic Podcast Network. Her degree helped her "learn how to apply theoretical approaches to the social media feeds and relationship dynamics" and per Madeline, “The goal is to be able to understand the world. To be able to answer questions and understand why something happens by digging a little bit below the surface.”
