Will the course i took at another school count toward my sociology major/minor Courses taken at other colleges and universities will count toward a sociology major or minor if they are equivalent to a course we offer in terms of content, level, and credit hours. If you would like to request credit for a particular course, please e-mail Kathy Lou (klou@uga.edu) and provide a link to the course syllabus (or bring copy of the syllabus to 113B Baldwin). Courses that are not equivalent may still count toward your general electives even though they will not help satisfy the major or minor requirements.
