Families, Communities, and Health Workshop

The Families, Communities, and Health Workshop is an ongoing group of faculty and graduate students who meet regularly to discuss the use of life course models to explain physical and mental health, criminal offending, and romantic relationships. Students and faculty identify papers they would like to co-author with others in the group. In most cases, these papers utilize decades of data collected as part of the Family and Community Health Study (FACHS) and the Iowa Youth and Families Project (IYFP).  The group provides an opportunity for members to present their findings and to solicit suggestions regarding the preparation of research papers for publication.
