Makeiva Jenkins is the recipient of a Southern Regional Board Doctoral Program Fellowship for 2024-25. This prestigious fellowship will allow her to focus on her dissertation full-time this year.The goal of the Doctoral Scholars Program is to increase the number of historically underrepresented students who earn doctorates and choose to become faculty at colleges and universities. Since its inception in 1993, the program has supported more than 2,000 scholars who have attended 109 institutions in more than more than 30 states.Congratulations to Makeiva on receiving this wonderful award!
