A special shoutout to Dr. Anna Rogers, Undergraduate Coordinator, for her leadership in having the Bachelor of Arts Sociology major recognized by the Office of Instruction as one of this year’s recipients of the Excellence in Academic Program Assessment Award. This award recognizes the intentional, dedicated effort that program faculty put into assessing student learning outcomes by engaging in ongoing, reflective assessment practices. There were over 70 nominations from almost 500 eligible programs across UGA’s schools and colleges, and we are honored to be among the top 1% of programs demonstrating outstanding academic program assessment.
